As a result of pregnancy, age or natural aging process, the labia minora may enlarge which may cause discomfort when choosing clothing, sexual relationship or sports.

With labia reduction the shape of the labia minora is corrected. The scar does not lie on the edge of the labia but is camouflaged more inwardly. The nerve endings are spared as much as possible.
