Full or local anesthesia

Full anesthesia is my preference for several reasons: comfort of patient and surgeon, better finish possible since towards the end of the procedure the pain increases in the patient and one either has to add fluids or is too quickly going to be satisfied with the result

• During first 24 hours evacuation of fluid from insertion openings

• Bleeding

• Asymmetry

• Irregularities especially in sagging skin

• Sensation reduction generally disappears

• Pigmentation disorders (darkening of the skin especially on the inner thighs possible, although very rare)

After 1 to 2 weeks, one can resume work. With very strenuous sports, it is best to wait 4 weeks.

The swelling is completely gone after 12 weeks and then the final result is also final.

The fat cells are permanently removed and are not reproduced after puberty. However, the resident fat cells under the skin can be filled in more due to inattentive eating. It is a figure correction and not a slimming method!
