Breast development in men can impact self-esteem. Both glandular and fat accumulation can be a cause of this. If underlying conditions are ruled out by the endocrinologist, surgery can be performed. Depending on the problem, liposuction or an incision at the edge of the areola is used to remove the fat and/or glandular tissue. If excess skin is also present it will also be removed.
